Massage has always been my number one go to when my head is not in the right space. It is the very first step for me to maintain balance and it allows me time to really shut down when my brain feels too busy to meditate.
I find it absolutely essential to treat myself at least twice a month and I always make it a priority in my life.
When I fell hurt or down, the gentle unconditional touch from another human, allows me to reconnect to myself, at a deeper level. To feel loved, and supported. It allows me to surrender and let go of emotion in the softest way.
It works so well, which is the very reason I decided to study so many different techniques, so that I could share my own experiences of relief and healing with others.
If you can make the time I throughly recommend massage with a therapist who resonates well with you, as a ritual you hold onto.
